Ben Sell

Ben Sell, born and raised in East London, began his performing career at a young age. His extensive younger credits include appearing in notable productions such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at The London Palladium, and in the touring productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Whistle Down The Wind.

Ben honed his skills at The Guildford School of Acting, where he received the Musical Theatre Prize and graduated with a first-class degree. His career has taken him across the globe, performing in Japan, South Korea, and the Caribbean. Highlights include playing Dracula in 'Universal Monsters Live Rock & Roll Show' in Japan and cover Nick & Jimmy in the international tour of ‘Flashdance'.

In the West End, Ben made his adult debut in 'Kinky Boots' at The Adelphi Theatre as The Cricket Angel covering The Referee. Recently, he delighted audiences touring the UK with the number one Drag girl group 'Queenz', portraying The Golden Diva, Bella Du Balle.

Ben's diverse talents extend beyond the musical theatre stage, including work as a vocalist for Disco Inferno and Twist & Shout productions, and as a drag artist for Baby Grand Events & Globestar Entertainment.

Teaching

Ben has always had a passion for teaching and passing on his skills and knowledge. He started teaching at 16 years old when he created his own choir which went on to win the Senior Choir Award at The National Music For Youth Competition 2009. He has since taught numerous workshops and classes all over the world alongside his performing career. He teaches regularly at Jodie Steele Associates both Singing lessons and also as a choreographer for the Elite Squad. Ben also teaches at The Guildford School of Acting, covering dance classes in a whole range of styles (Pas De Deux, Conditioning, Jazz, Tap).
